Based on trying these on (and having to order a size up), these run according to the sizing given above.

ABOUT THE ITEMS
Clothing is measured in inches with the garment laid on a flat surface, measuring from left to right.
Elasticated items are measured with the garment not expanded.
All items are from my personal wardrobe and are therefore items I may have worn and so they are NOT brand new unless I state that they are.
